Players new to BedWars may be matched against non-human players ("bots") for a percentage of their first games. When you are in a bot lobby, all players except yourself are bots.
We match new players against bots to provide a better first experience for players new to The Hive. As these matches consist only of non-human and inexperienced players, the skill level is considerably fairer than in public lobbies.
Parties are never matched against bots, and it is not possible for experienced players to join bot lobbies. Bots do not count towards the game's player count or platform-based matchmaking status.
At this time, players can not manually opt in or out of this feature. Bots are not yet available in Custom Servers.

This is an experimental feature. Whilst care has been taken to match the behaviour of real players, gaps and bugs may be encountered during bot matches. We might expand or end this experiment at any time.
