🎮 Bots in Public Games
Players who are new to BedWars may be matched against non-human players ("bots") for a percentage of their first games. When you are in a bot lobby, all players except yourself are bots.
Bots do not appear in any other public rounds of BedWars, and if you are not brand new to the server, you will not come across them in public games.
We match new players against bots to provide a better first experience for players new to The Hive. As these matches consist only of non-human and inexperienced players, the skill level is considerably fairer than in public lobbies.
Parties are never matched against bots, and it is not possible for experienced players to join bot lobbies. Bots do not count towards the game's player count or platform-based matchmaking status.
At this time, players can not manually opt in or out of this feature.
🕹️ Bots in Custom Servers
You can play against bots in BedWars and SkyWars Solo custom servers.
To enable bot players, simply create a BedWars: Solo custom server and enable the ‘Fill With Bots’ setting.
Bots can be set to the following difficulty levels using the ‘Bot Difficulty’ setting:
- Easy
- Normal
- Hard
