If you are playing on a Nintendo Switch and are having issues viewing in-game images, such as those on the game selector, or map voting menus, please try the following steps to resolve the problem:

  • Close Minecraft and return to the Nintendo Switch's main menu
  • Navigate to System Settings > Data Management > Software
  • From the list, select Minecraft
  • Scroll down, and select Check for Corrupt Data
  • Once the check is complete, check if the issue is fixed, if not:
  • Return to the same menu and select Redownload

Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to view in-game images correctly.

If you are still having issues after following these steps, please contact our support team.

Completing these steps shouldn't delete your worlds or game data, but you might want to create a backup of any important worlds first. Information about creating a backup can be found here.
