If you are playing on a Nintendo Switch and are having issues viewing in-game images, such as those on the game selector, or map voting menus, please try the following steps to resolve the problem:

  • Close Minecraft and return to the Nintendo Switch's main menu
  • Navigate to System Settings > Data Management > Software
  • From the list, select Minecraft
  • Scroll down, and select Check for Corrupt Data
  • Once the check is complete, check if the issue is fixed, if not:
  • Return to the same menu and select Redownload

Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to view in-game images correctly.
